On 27 and 28 June 2026 the Belgium Air Force Days took place at Florennes Airbase. The airbase is located 4 kilometers east-southeast of the village Florennes in theprovince of Wallonia, in the south of Belgium. It’s home to the 2nd Tactical Wing andoperates two squadrons of the General Dynamics F-16 fighter aircraft. During theBelgium Air Force days, a total of 4 F-35s were already delivered to the Belgium AirForce and those are based at Florennes Airbase, so these Air Force Days were theirfirst appearance to the public which makes them one of the highlights of these AirFrce Days.

Static: Next to the Belgian Air Force F-35 there were also F-35s from the Italian and the RoyalNetherlands Air Force on static. Also, the recently delivered new H145M of the BelgianAir Force was on static. The Belgian Air Force has ordered five Cessna 408 Sky Courierswith expected delivery by 2028-2029 but on the static was a civil Cessna 408 Skycourier so the people could see the aircraft for the first time. Standing next to eachother were Turkish Air Force F-4E-2020 and Hellenic Air Force F-4E AUP which is quite a remarkable sight. Other welcome guests were three Portuguese Air Force A-29NSuper Tucano’s and a Hungarian H-225M. Off course there was lots of aircraft andhelicopter more on static.
