Main goal of this trip was the Seoul International Aerospace & Defence Exibition (ADEX) 2011. The location of the event was Seoul Airport (Seongnam AB), southeast of central Seoul, South Korea. The event was organized by the Korea Aerospace Industries Association, Defence Industry and supported by the Ministry of National Defense, ROK Army, Air Force and Navy amongst others.

Seongnam AB is also hosting the 15th Tactical Air Transport Wing of the RoKAF composed with the 2 transport squadrons equipped with C-130H / H-30, a Training squadron with the single turboprop  engine basic trainer KA-1 and the Presidential Flight equiped with Boeing 747-4B5 –   B737-3Z8  – VH-60P and VCH-92. Finally,  the secretive 125th Tactical Reconnaissance Squadron equiped with RC-800 is also stationed at Seongnam.

Furthermore a visit to Suwon Air Base. The base is home to the ROKAF’s 10th Fighter Wing (제10전투비행단), comprising: 101st Fighter Squadron flying KF-5E/KF-5F/F-5F, 153rd Fighter Squadron flying F-4E,  131st Tactical Reconnaissance Squadron flying RF-4c and 201st Fighter Squadron flying KF-5E/KF-5F/F-5F. 

Also a short trip to Osan Air Base was made, home of the United States Air Force 51st Fighter Wing.
